Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in editorial, content, or communications at a digital publisher or similar environment
- Strong writing and editing experience, ideally in health, wellness, or lifestyle media
- Experience managing freelance writers and editorial assignments
- Proficiency in SEO fundamentals (keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization)
- Proficiency with tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
- Experience with editorial tools like Airtable
- Familiarity with content performance metrics and using data to inform decisions
- Strong editorial judgment and ability to identify timely, high-impact stories
- Ability to maintain a consistent brand voice
- Clear, concise writer with strong editing skills across short- and long-form content
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage workflows, deadlines, and publishing schedules
- Self-directed, with the ability to prioritize and maintain consistent output
- Detail-oriented, with a high bar for quality and accuracy

Responsibilities
- Execute a consistent weekly publishing cadence for the All Healthy website across multiple content types
- Execute the editorial for the developing Better Plates recipe and food vertical
- Identify search opportunities using keyword research tools (e.g., Ahrefs or SEMrush) and assign or edit stories
- Write quick-turn news stories covering timely developments in health and wellness
- Manage freelance writers, including briefing assignments, editing drafts, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Republish completed newsletter stories to the website, ensuring formatting, links, and images display correctly in the CMS
- Program and maintain the website homepages and category pages
- Maintain editorial workflow in Airtable, including tracking assignments, managing production timelines, and coordinating with contributors
- Monitor analytics and search performance to identify opportunities for improvement and inform future story selection
- Support the development of longer-form guides or evergreen content projects as needed
