Requirements
- Experience leading teams and managing careers
- Hands-on experience building and deploying ML solutions
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts: regression and classification, clustering, neural networks, feature selection, cross-validation, bias-variance tradeoff, model explainability
- Strong knowledge of probability and statistics, including experimental design, optimization and causal inference for A/B experiments analysis
- Good understanding of the engineering challenges to deploy machine learning systems to production
- Proficiency in Python or another major programming language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Balance hands-on technical work with managerial responsibilities
- Lead a small team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to build solutions based on AI/ML
- Be a technical reference to the team, including doing hands-on work when needed
- Foster a high-performance culture and continuously raise the bar
- Shaping the technical direction of our products, translating business requirements into solutions
- Discuss business requirements with the Product Manager and other stakeholders
