Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a primary focus on test automation
- Proven experience with Playwright and TypeScript (or highly similar automation frameworks)
- Practical experience with E2E/UI test automation
- Willingness to perform manual testing on web platforms
- Strong knowledge of testing best practices and methodologies
- Experience with a 'working backwards' approach to risk-based testing
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., Jira)
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Confluence)
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze complex data structures within a scheduling environment
- Ability to work effectively within a phased testing implementation approach
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (plus)
- Familiarity with API testing and performance testing (plus)
- Knowledge of additional test automation frameworks beyond the primary stack (plus)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality assurance for a business-critical healthcare scheduling platform.
- Ensure the stability of core user actions, authentication, and permissions.
- Ensure that new features and hotfixes do not compromise critical functionality.
- Define the overall test strategy for critical workflows and maintain all testing procedures and documentation.
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Build and sustain risk-based regression tests, prioritizing an automation-first approach supplemented by targeted manual checks.
- Perform exploratory and high-risk manual testing to identify edge cases within the web platform.
- Partner with developers to ensure sufficient unit and integration test coverage and provide feedback in code reviews regarding testability and quality risks.
- Validate authentication, navigation, and complex permission sets to ensure configuration changes meet rigorous healthcare standards.
- Support the phased rollout of testing frameworks as the product evolves from initial stages to advanced maturity.
