Strong software engineering experience in a fast-paced environment with real production constraints
Experience in a B2C product used by hundreds of thousands of users
Shipped features end-to-end and taken full ownership of their outcomes
Builder's mindset: loves building things that move metrics
Full-stack spirit: comfortable across the stack (front, back, infra)
Analytical skills: deeply data-driven, instruments code, designs experiments, uses data to validate hypotheses
Fast learner: up to speed quickly on new domains, markets, and constraints
Problem solver: brings creative, practical solutions to complex, ambiguous problems
Drive & ownership: accountable for outcomes
Team player: works closely with Product, Design, and Data, communicates clearly
Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship experiments across the full user journey to drive significant impact on key growth metrics
Quantify impact, iterate on what works, and kill what doesn't, fast
Work on ambitious features like gamification, personalization, and cross-feature engagement to deepen user connection with Joko's increasingly complex product surface
Build and run AB tests at scale, instrument features for measurement, and partner closely with the Data team to make every decision evidence-based
Move quickly, put prototypes in front of users, gather feedback, and iterate
Bridge between business, product, and technical stakeholders
Translate business challenges into engineering solutions, surface technical constraints that shape product decisions, and ensure alignment across teams
Adapt the product to local contexts and help infrastructure scale across geographies for international expansion
