Requirements
- 2-5+ years of experience in a credit risk or analytics role
- Expert SQL skills within a consumer credit business (e.g., credit cards, installment lending, BNPL, purchase finance, earned wage access)
- Bachelor’s degree required; preference for quantitative fields such as engineering, mathematics, economics, finance, or related disciplines
- Advanced hands-on experience and knowledge with data tools such SQL, Python, Excel, R, SAS, PySpark
- Experience on data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus
- Working knowledge of consumer credit underwriting and credit policy concepts
- Demonstrated experience partnering with non-technical stakeholders, influencing analytical direction, and translating ambiguous questions into clear, data-driven answers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain insights, assumptions, and limitations to both technical and business audiences
- Practical experience using AI-enabled tools or workflows to support analysis, decision-making, or modeling, with a clear understanding of limitations and governance considerations
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end credit insights that inform underwriting, pricing, and product strategy, translating data into decisions that drive growth and portfolio health
- Assess, price, and scale consumer credit particularly across Cash Flow Intelligence initiatives and emerging products like Cash Advance
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Treasury, and Finance to translate data into action, balancing customer-first outcomes with disciplined risk management
- Present insights, recommendations, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders across Product, Finance, and Credit, tailoring messages to technical and non-technical audiences
- Develop and iterate on credit underwriting strategies using traditional and alternative data sources, including cash flow data
- Build and maintain unit economics and valuation models to inform pricing, underwriting, targeting, and capital allocation decisions
- Own credit policy development and implementation, from analytical rationale through operational rollout
- Design, execute, and interpret live tests across product features, pricing, and customer acquisition strategies
- Advance portfolio monitoring and loss forecasting capabilities, including stress testing and forward-looking scenarios
- Apply AI-assisted analytics and modeling techniques to accelerate insight generation while maintaining explainability and risk discipline
- Independently prioritize workstreams across competing initiatives, balancing near-term business needs with long-term portfolio health
