Requirements
- 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally in crypto, protocol development, or deep-tech environments
- A demonstrated ability to hire senior engineers, quant researchers, or other highly specialized profiles
- An understanding of core crypto concepts, especially those in DeFi
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical products and value propositions to candidates
- The ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Own sourcing, outreach, screening, interviews, and closing for technical roles (e.g., quantitative developers, protocol researchers, full-stack developers, among other teams)
- Build and maintain diverse, high-quality pipelines across multiple functions
- Drive an exceptional candidate experience from first touch to offer acceptance
- Leverage on-chain reputation tools, GitHub activity, DAO contributions, Crypto Twitter/Farcaster/Discord communities, open source communities, hackathons, L2 ecosystems and crypto-specific hiring channels
- Work directly with engineering leadership & hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of their hiring needs
- Advise hiring teams on best practices for conducting interviews and making informed, data-driven decisions
- Maintain structured hiring pipelines, interview scorecards, and ATS hygeine
- Implement structured evaluation frameworks that align with Gauntlet’s standards
- Proactively suggest improvements to hiring processes, outreach copy, interview structure, and branding across technical roles
