Requirements
- 3+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally within a digital marketing agency
- Native or near-native English writing ability with strong editing and proofreading skills
- Proven ability to write conversion-focused copy across digital channels
- Clear understanding of digital marketing concepts such as buyer awareness stages, funnels, retargeting, customer journeys, and storytelling
- Understanding of SEO best practices, digital channels, and content performance principles
- Strong research and message-mining habits used to shape positioning, headlines, and core messaging
- Experience using AI-assisted writing tools as part of a modern copy workflow
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines under pressure
- Experience working in project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Trello, and collaborating through Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with remote, cross-functional teams
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to turn feedback and insights into stronger copy
- Comfortable explaining copy decisions and applying direction without losing clarity or intent
- Willingness to continue learning and developing copywriting and marketing skills
- Familiarity with content management systems and analytics tools is a plus
- Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Write clear, persuasive marketing copy on a daily basis in support of client goals
- Produce copy across a range of formats, including landing pages, websites, email campaigns, paid and organic ads, conversion funnels, long-form content, social media captions, and video scripts
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, account managers, and clients to define messaging direction and maintain consistency across campaigns
- Conduct research and message mining before writing to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Edit and refine your own work prior to review
- Revise copy based on feedback, performance insights, and campaign outcomes
- Other duties as assigned
