Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in engineering and data science
- In-depth understanding of applied machine learning algorithms
- Experience with NLP
- In-depth understanding of statistics
- Experienced in Python and its major data science libraries
- Deployed models and algorithms in production
- Comfortable with data science
- Comfortable with the engineering required to bring models to production
- Excited about using a wide set of technologies
- Value open, frank, and respectful communication
- Experience with AWS (as a plus)
- Hands-on experience with data analytics (as a plus)
- Hands-on experience with data engineering (as a plus)
Responsibilities
- Lead the framing, development, and deployment at the scale of machine learning models
- Understand the risk of various classes of businesses using ML models
- Turn vast amounts of structured and unstructured data into novel insights about behavior and risk
- Take full ownership over projects and drive their direction and maintain focus
- Work closely with Product Management and Software Engineers
