Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data center networking
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus (9K preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Arista switches in production environments
- Proven experience implementing VXLAN EVPN
- Strong working knowledge of BGP, including underlay and overlay concepts
- Experience with spine–leaf architectures
- Ability to run and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks in network environments
- Experience participating in network migrations / change windows
- Experience with Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP)
- Python scripting for network automation
- Unix/Linux exposure
- CCNP or CCIE certification
- Financial services environment experience
- Availability to work weekends for migrations when required
Responsibilities
- Execute hands-on implementation of finalized Arista and Cisco Nexus network designs
- Deploy and validate VXLAN EVPN fabrics in spine–leaf architectures
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP underlay and overlay
- Perform network migrations and cutovers, including weekend activities when required
- Run and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks for network automation and configuration tasks
- Validate configurations through testing to ensure stability, security, and performance
- Document implementations, SOPs, and configuration standards
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and client engineering teams
- Support post-implementation optimization and tuning
