Medical Virtual Scribe - ECW and Rheumatology Practice required

Proven experience as a Medical Scribe (virtual or in-person) Hands-on eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation workflows Experience with pre-charting, visit documentation, and post-visit chart completion Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Availability to work PST-aligned hours Rheumatology scribing experience or prior exposure to rheumatology clinics (preferred) Familiarity with rheumatology-related labs, imaging, and chronic disease documentation (preferred) Experience working alongside in-person scribes or multi-scribe teams (preferred) Outpatient or ambulatory care background (preferred)

Prepare pre-visit charts Support visit documentation in coordination with the in-person scribe Draft and organize progress notes, assessments, and plans Maintain accurate problem lists, medication histories, and clinical updates Contact patients to clarify visit details or obtain missing documentation Request, organize, and upload outside records, imaging, and lab results Ensure all documents are correctly labeled and indexed in eClinicalWorks (ECW) Enter lab orders in eClinicalWorks per provider instruction Track lab results and flag abnormal or missing findings for provider review Assist with specialty lab coordination commonly used in rheumatology Maintain clean, organized, and compliant patient charts in ECW Adhere to clinic documentation standards and HIPAA requirements Anticipate provider documentation needs to support efficient clinic flow
