Azure Cybersecurity Engineer

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focused on Azure cloud security. Proficiency with Azure security services, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Firewall. Strong understanding of Azure networking and identity management. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep) and DevSecOps practices. Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK), and best practices. Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection. Design and implement security architectures for Azure cloud environments. Deploy and configure Azure security services. Establish security baselines and hardening standards for Azure resources. Implement identity and access management solutions using Azure AD and Entra ID. Manage security monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and incident response procedures for Azure environments. Serve as the primary security advisor for Azure implementations. Present findings, recommendations, and roadmaps to stakeholders. Collaborate with teams to integrate security within the DevOps lifecycle. Develop and implement security policies and governance frameworks for Azure. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including NIST standards. Manage Azure Policy and Blueprints for regulatory compliance. Conduct security audits and prepare compliance documentation.
