Requirements:
Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or another behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university. Bilingual in Spanish and English is required. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Google Suite (calendar, docs, sheets, slides, etc.). Strong data entry and documentation experience. Work experience with Electronic Medical Records. Experience with CBT, Behavioral Health Assessments and Motivational Interviewing.
Responsibilities:
Accept patient handoffs and continue care. Develop rapport with patients to create a safe therapeutic environment. Guide patients in developing skills for managing problems and triggers. Educate patients on medication adherence and monitor medication-related problems. Communicate treatment recommendations and updates to PCPs and psychiatrists. Assess patients for risk, develop safety plans, and perform crisis interventions. Monitor, evaluate, and record patient progress using validated assessments. Prepare and maintain required records, reports, and patient diagnostic records. Counsel patients about mental or physical illness, abuse, medication, and community resources.
