Gut-Brain Therapist (Texas)

Masters degree in Counseling or a related field Active mental health license in Texas Must have an NPI 3+ years experience in the direct delivery of evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing) Strong skills in applying CBT and/or ACT protocols for other medical conditions and strong understanding of the gut-brain connection Proficient in Google Suite/Workspace, at least one EMR system, Zoom, and Slack

Implement SideBy Care’s Gut-Brain therapy program Apply gut-directed psychotherapy interventions via Telehealth Assess client eligibility for SideBy Care program participation Collaborate with medical providers, GI-focused dietitians, and company leadership Provide education related to gut-brain interventions to medical providers, client support groups, and community forums Assist in creating client education materials Maintain clinical knowledge Document appropriately in the EMR system Serve as a strong client advocate Engage in continuous education for functional GI disorders/DGBI Identify and suggest opportunities for improvement Prioritize flexibility in virtual clinic schedule
