Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Think Unix, know the networking stack, OSI model, containers (and schedulers). Strong programming skills in at least one language. Automate yourself out of everything by nature. Communicate effectively and asynchronously. Express yourself in English. Experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and Terraform. Experience with Grafana stack and Cortex. Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases. Experience with GitLab.

Evolving infrastructure platform and building self-service components. Working closely with Product and Infrastructure teams to architecture and develop infrastructure components. Designing and implementing tooling to improve service availability, scalability, observability, and latency. Increasing reliability awareness with other teams and helping with adoption of reliability principles. Defining SLIs, SLOs and SLAs. Sharing an on-call schedule for platform services. Solving problems in the highly available platform and building automations. Participating in the recruiting process.
