Principal Hardware Design Engineer

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus. 10+ years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware design. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Expertise in Siemens DxDesigner (preferred), Altium, and Xpedition-DxDesigner. Proven experience applying project management and systems engineering methodologies. Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability sectors is advantageous. Deep understanding of compliance, safety, and industry-specific standards. Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.

Drive design scope and deliverables independently. Develop functional design specifications for complex electronic systems. Perform circuit design across digital, analog, and power domains. Work with interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB, CSI, DSI. Lead schematic capture, layout review, and design guidance. Conduct signal and power integrity analysis. Perform FPGA/CPLD design and verification. Develop and execute test plans to validate performance and reliability. Prototype bring-up and system integration. Ensure compliance with EMC/CE/UL standards. Contribute to software and firmware development as required.
