Mid-level Backend Engineer (Remote) - UK

Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team. Technical expertise with Java or Kotlin. Experience with relational databases is ideal. Proven track record of making a demonstrable impact. Highly driven and proactive. Meticulous with high standards and attention to detail.

Design technical solutions to business problems. Ship working code using Kotlin microservices and React frontend. Deploy and iterate frequently using CI/CD tools. Monitor services, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes. Build technical competency using L&D budget.
