Software Engineer III (Cloud SRE Engineer)

6-10+ years of professional experience running and managing production services on AWS Deep understanding of core AWS fundamentals (VPC, IAM, KMS, security groups, routing) Expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation) Experience operating and managing container platforms (EKS/ECS) Proven ability to design and automate comprehensive CI/CD pipelines Deep knowledge of metrics, logs, traces, SLOs, alerting, and incident response Practical High Availability (HA) / Disaster Recovery (DR) thinking Strong security-by-default posture Acute performance and cost awareness Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch Insights Experience with GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker Experience with encryption technologies Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation Experience with VPN, virtualization, edge computing Experience with Apache Airflow Experience with Python, Bash scripting

Stand up and harden new cloud environment and deployment pipeline Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Docker Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of platform systems Own observability and incident readiness end-to-end Implement DevOps methodologies for CI/CD and infrastructure automation Develop automation tools to reduce manual operational tasks Maintain system and network security Partner with engineering and security teams for rapid deployment
