Senior Employment & Class Action Litigation Attorney - Remote (Illinois)

Licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing Several years of civil litigation experience, ideally 5+ years Substantial discovery, motion practice, and taking/defending depositions experience Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and/or wage-and-hour or employment matters strongly preferred Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Strategic, detail-oriented approach Proven ability to independently manage complex cases and a busy litigation docket in a remote environment Professional, steady work history and strong client-facing skills Positive, team-oriented attitude

Serve as a Senior Associate Attorney on wage-and-hour, employment, and consumer class and representative actions Lead and manage all phases of complex civil litigation Draft, edit, and argue substantive motions Take and defend depositions Develop and execute case strategy Appear for court hearings, conferences, and other proceedings Mentor junior attorneys and staff Travel occasionally for hearings, depositions, mediations, and internal meetings
