Senior Frontend Engineer (commercetools & Next.js) Contractor - Brazil

Deep hands-on experience with commercetools APIs and the Merchant Center. Mastery of React 18+, Next.js 14/15, TypeScript, and state management. Strong experience building server-side logic using Node.js and Express. Familiarity with integrating headless CMS, Search, and DAM. Proficiency with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. Expert knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and CSS-in-JS.

Lead the design and implementation of a headless frontend using Next.js and commercetools Frontend or custom SDK integrations. Implement advanced Next.js strategies for performance optimization. Build complex e-commerce features. Use Node.js and GraphQL/REST to orchestrate data between systems. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish frontend best practices. Partner with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into React components.
