Senior Engineer (Golang) - Contractor - Brazil

8+ years of software engineering experience 5+ years dedicated to Golang in a production environment Deep understanding of Go's concurrency model Proven experience with microservices patterns Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra) Experience with message brokers or event-streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS) Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Strong grasp of Kubernetes/Docker Mastery of table-driven testing in Go

Design and implement scalable, microservices-based architectures using Golang Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Golang code Build and maintain high-performance RESTful and gRPC APIs Profile and optimize services for latency and resource utilization Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes Lead testing efforts (unit, integration, end-to-end) Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers Integrate AI-assisted development tools
