Global Website Operations & Development Manager

5+ years of professional web development experience in production environments. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (native), DOM APIs, event handling, and AJAX/XHR requests. Solid PHP experience including procedural development and maintaining existing codebases. Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling. Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO fundamentals. Ability to work across the stack, context-switching between front-end and back-end tasks. Proven ability to work within existing codebases and established patterns. Ability to balance technical quality with business velocity. Strong ability to follow technical direction and implement solutions according to specifications. Self-directed work style with the ability to take ownership of features end-to-end with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams across time zones. Experience with Git (or other) version control and collaborative development workflows (highly valued). Experience with headless CMS platforms (Storyblok, Contentful, or similar) (highly valued). Linux command line familiarity and basic server administration (highly valued). Multi-language/multi-locale website development experience (highly valued).

Build responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Implement content structures, create reusable components, and manage multi-locale content architecture in a headless CMS (Storyblok). Contribute to server-side functionality using PHP, including API integrations and data processing. Translate requirements and design specifications into functional website features. Debug and resolve issues across different browsers, devices, and environments. Maintain and improve existing bespoke codebase. Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams and document development processes.
