(1317) Senior Test Engineer

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ Years of experience working in software quality/test engineering, with proven experience shipping and supporting customer-facing production products. Strong TypeScript automation experience, including building and maintaining automated tests. Hands-on UI automation with Playwright, Cypress, or similar modern frameworks. Experience testing backend systems and REST APIs. Solid manual QA foundation, including exploratory testing, regression strategy, and defect triage. Ability to own quality end-to-end as the primary STE while collaborating with adjacent teams. Automation experience running in CI/CD pipelines and working in cloud environments (AWS preferred). Experience maintaining automation at scale across multiple releases. Experience with C# or Java. Advanced English Level is required.

Own the quality strategy for key initiatives across frontend, backend, and data pipelines. Define test approaches, quality gates, and release criteria for distributed, event-driven systems. Design and build robust automation (TypeScript) for UI (Playwright), API/contract (REST/GraphQL, Pact), and event streams. Implement CI/CD quality gates, including parallelized test suites and flaky-test detection. Expand non-functional coverage: performance/load, resiliency/chaos scenarios, reliability SLOs, accessibility, and security checks. Build test data and environments using mocks, service virtualization, and cloud-native ephemeral environments. Partner across disciplines to design for testability and drive defect prevention. Integrate and validate AI-driven services, establishing evaluation datasets and bias checks. Mentor engineers on testing best practices, code reviews, debugging, and observability-driven testing. Instrument tests and systems for telemetry and continuously optimize execution time and coverage. Document quality architecture with diagrams and test plans. Collaborate with Principal/Distinguished Engineers to design testable, resilient solutions. Contribute to mobile testing where applicable.
