Requirements:
Significant experience in change management, typically degree-level educated (or equivalent) Extensive experience managing the human side of change in large programmes/projects Demonstrated ability to build and influence relationships with diverse stakeholders Detailed understanding of Business Change Management principles (e.g., PROSCI), including effective communications, business engagement, stakeholder management, and resistance management Able to be part of successful delivery teams and understand team styles and how people work together Able to maintain, influence and motivate a team Proven track record in organisational transformations Deep understanding of change management principles Understanding of different methodologies Experience of being a successful change thought leader Driving and embedding sustainable transformation across critical programs and projects Wider PPM skills Broad understanding of the UK public services landscape Experience in different sectors Demonstrable stakeholder engagement skills Good understanding about the challenges faced in public sector delivery Interest in innovating with new techniques and technology to support the effective project delivery
Responsibilities:
Drive high-complexity change management across client assignments using established frameworks (e.g., PROSCI) Develop key deliverables including stakeholder mapping, communication plans, engagement strategies, training plans, and resistance management plans Conduct thorough impact assessments of change and develop business readiness statements Advise senior stakeholders on risks and mitigations Foster a culture of change readiness by addressing people impacts and coaching line managers and teams Provide tailored support for control room environments Collaborate closely with client and Methods project/program leads, sponsors, and Subject Matter Experts Ensure effective communication and engagement across all levels, up to Exec level Provide robust governance oversight and assess the quality of change activities Oversee testing and training phases, and lead benefits management and post-implementation review processes Ensure relevant stakeholders and team members are engaged throughout, and processes and timelines are agreed upon and communicated Foster collaboration across project and internal boundaries Contribute to business development, i.e. extensions, further work opportunities Contribute to the development of new products and services and evolve existing products and services Contribute to and support internal change projects Actively participate in Communities of Practice
