Linux OS System Administrator(Saudi National Only)-Remote

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5+ years of practical experience in Linux System Administration (RHEL/CentOS) in an enterprise context. Proficient in RHEL (versions 7, 8, 9) and RHEL Clustering (Pacemaker). Extensive experience in supporting SAP/SAPHANA on RHEL. Demonstrated ability in installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch management of operating systems. Experience in managing user and group accounts. Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as SCOM/AppDynamics. Familiarity with management tools like SCCM. Capability to work in a 24/7/365 shift environment. Excellent documentation skills. Strong teamwork abilities. Awareness of cybersecurity regulations (NCA, NIC). Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) are a plus. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) for deploying and managing Linux applications is preferred. Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) is preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects. Strong communication skills to work effectively with remote teams.

Install, configure, and manage Linux servers and applications. Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and apply updates. Identify and resolve operating system, hardware, and network issues. Implement and enforce security best practices. Assist in deployment and management of applications. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting. Support backup and recovery processes. Collaborate with development teams for deployment processes. Manage RHEL systems in accordance with vendor recommendations and security best practices. Manage the operating system lifecycle, including upgrades and decommissioning. Provide daily operational support, including OS installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, virus protection, and resource management. Manage RedHat HA Extension (PACEMAKER) clusters and support SAP, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA environments. Review system logs and OS behavior for proactive monitoring. Build relationships with ERP, application, database, and web hosting teams. Manage and maintain client agents for server monitoring (SCOM, AppDynamic) and server management (SCCM). Create and maintain technical and detailed design documentation. Create, maintain, and delete user/group accounts and implement account policies. Raise and manage support tickets with RedHat.
