Requirements
- 12+ years of overall professional working experience
- At least 3 years at a reputable law firm
- 5+ years in-house at a high growth technology company
- Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
- Membership in good standing in a U.S. State Bar
- Demonstrated expertise in U.S. privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR familiarity)
- Experience counseling on adtech, data use, and measurement in media/marketing contexts
- Depth in advertising & marketing law, commercial contracting, and data privacy
- Comfortable working in an AI-forward environment
Responsibilities
- Provide practical, business-forward counseling on product, commercial, and regulatory issues
- Create the legal process for the tech product lifecycle
- Lead and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
- Build and mature legal systems, processes, and templates
- Create and maintain scalable templates, clause libraries, and escalation matrices
- Manage outside counsel efficiently
- Deliver training for GTM, Product, and Ops
