Requirements:
1+ year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, taxation, audit, or financial analysis Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is mandatory Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, data validation) Experience using automation tools or Excel-based automation templates is mandatory Foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions using QuickBooks Support month-end close activities and reconciliations Prepare and review monthly financial reports Support compliance activities and filings Follow internal processes and documentation standards Assist in budgeting and variance analysis using Excel Utilize Excel-based automation templates Respond to financial inquiries and explain financial information Support ad-hoc projects and research accounting issues
