Requirements
- Subject matter expert within Financial Servicing (Lending and/or Investments)
- Client facing experience
- Presentation experience
- Security by Design
- Experience of designing to standards and utilising industry patterns
- AS400 / iSeries experience
Responsibilities
- Design high quality, scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions using IBM iSeries (AS/400)
- Articulate design capability to clients and internal teams
- Sit on the internal Design Authority Board (DAB) and review proposed designs
- Shape solutions for Target's modernization
- Communicate design decisions, plans, goals, and strategies
- Research, propose, and introduce new technologies
- Support the Solution Architect by designing components of the High Level Solution
- Articulate solution designs to software engineering teams
- Act as the technical design authority in project delivery
- Provide product, system, and industry guidance
- Support the Change project governance process
- Provide product and technical knowledge support to the bid process
- Own the process of engagement with all areas of the business
- Provide design estimates for new functional components
