Highly proficient in Python 3.10+ Experienced in building large, production-grade backend systems Experience with data ingestion pipelines, REST APIs, event/log processing, or message queues Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch / Kibana, or similar search/analytics platforms Comfortable working with MongoDB and ideally experience with MongoEngine Understand or have worked with SOC, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, or incident response tooling Can integrate with third-party APIs Experience working in or extending a large existing codebase (~50K lines) Familiarity with workflow/orchestration engines Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) Advanced professional spoken and written English skills Work a minimum of 4 hours overlapping with the US Eastern timezone
