Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in payroll accounting or payroll operations. Solid understanding of US payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards. Strong Excel and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Process semi-monthly and off-cycle payrolls for US employees. Prepare and review payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet accounts. Ensure timely tax payments and filings. Maintain accurate employee payroll records. Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation. Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure payroll accuracy. Partner with external payroll vendors. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes. Support internal and external audits.
