Requirements:
6+ years of progressive UX/UI design experience. Minimum of 3+ years focused on building, managing, and scaling large-scale design systems or platforms. Expert-level mastery of Figma, leveraging advanced features. Demonstrated knowledge of atomic design principles, design tokens, and system governance methodologies. Deep understanding of how components are built in code (HTML, CSS, React frameworks). Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and design system contributions. Excellent communication and influential skills. Strong collaborative skills and a growth mindset.
Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and own the Figma design system library. Ensure 1:1 parity between Figma components and React code. Design and document component interaction and usage guidelines. Lead component quality assurance. Act as a subject matter expert to UX Designers. Collaborate with product and engineers on new components and patterns. Control and manage the system's contribution pipeline. Facilitate regular design system reviews. Contribute to the system's backlog and roadmap.
