Engineering Manager - Not an Active Opening, Building Talent Pipeline

Previous experience managing a team (preferably in cloud, devops or application development). Experience working with AWS or other cloud-related solutions. Experience writing, reviewing, and deploying using multiple different coding languages (nodejs, go, react, angular, typescript, python, etc). Great verbal and written communication skills. Experience managing professional services engagements. Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and ability to be cross-functional. Possess a natural curiosity and excitement for learning new technology. Desire to integrate innovative technologies into development workflow. Familiarity with Generative AI technologies. Technical background in application development.

Manage a team of 5-8 cloud engineers and architects. Define and communicate the value of technical solutions. Take on hands-on technical responsibilities. Lead technical discussions with customers. Handle code reviews and pull request management. Manage task assignments within sprints. Provide guidance on roadmap planning, best practices, and risk identification. Mentor team members. Serve as the point of technical escalation for client engagements. Kick off new projects. Support pre-sales through proposal development, contract review, and client presentations. Conduct technical interviews for candidates. Perform 1:1s and support career growth of direct reports. Navigate customer and team challenges.
