Senior Software Engineer Electron - Paris

At least 5+ years of experience with deep expertise in Electron and the Node.js ecosystem. Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred) for desktop applications. Knowledge of code signing (Apple/Windows) and auto-update mechanisms. Experience establishing E2E testing strategies for desktop applications (e.g., Playwright, Cypress). Familiarity with modern development practices and AI-assisted development tools. Rigorous about security and understanding of browser versions and third-party dependencies. Preference for robust, automated solutions over manual processes. Autonomous and capable of delivering complex infrastructure projects on time.

Own the lifecycle of our desktop app, including publishing, code signing, notarization, and auto-updates. Design and maintain CI pipelines (GitLab CI) with automated testing for Electron. Safely navigate major version bumps of Electron and Chromium. Debug and optimize application performance, focusing on memory leaks and CPU usage. Maintain and extend native integrations with USB telephony hardware. Participate in an on-call rotation for critical system issues.
