Senior Backend Engineer (Remote)

Develop backend systems using Python, Django, DRF, FastAPI, Docker and AWS Cloud. Write automated unit tests and integration tests. Maintain comprehensive documentation of backend systems, APIs, and processes. Share technical insights and best practices with unit members. Provide technical knowledge and support to junior and other senior backend engineers. Work closely with DevOps engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Develop scalable, high-performance backend systems. Collaborate with cross-functional departments for seamless integration. Optimise APIs for performance, scalability, and security. Contribute to code quality through reviews and best practices. Mentor mid and junior engineers. Maintain up-to-date documentation of backend systems, APIs, and processes. Implement scalable, high-performance features and integrations. Develop, implement, and maintain end to end solutions using Python, Django, DRF, FastAPI, Docker and AWS Cloud. Use AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code to help write code. Write automated unit tests and integration tests. Share technical insights and best practices. Provide technical knowledge and support to junior and other senior backend engineers. Work closely with DevOps engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Communicate effectively with other members, providing regular updates.
