Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer with AWS Tools
- BS in Computer Science or similar
- Full English Fluency
- SQL – Intermediate
- AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, step functions
- Snowflake - Intermediate (4-6 Years)
- DBT - Entry Level (1-3 Years)
- AWS Cloud Data - Intermediate (4-6 Years)
- MSSQL - Entry Level (1-3 Years) (Desirable)
- Communications - Intermediate
- Office Suite - Intermediate
- Rally - Entry Level or similar
- Agile - Entry Level, knowledge
- Exp Insurance within finance area (PLUS)
Responsibilities
- Preps/cleanses data to optimize for downstream reporting
- Translates business data stories into technical story breakdown and work estimates
- Develops and maintains moderately complex scalable data pipelines for streaming and batch requirements
- Builds out new API integrations
- Produces data building blocks, data models, and data flows for varying client requests
- Creates business user access methods to structured and unstructured data
- Acquires, curates, and publishes data both on prem and in the cloud
- Ensures data is in a ready-to-use form
- Translates business analytic requests/requirements into design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance tasks
- Works with various technologies from big data, relational and non-relational databases, cloud environments, different programming languages and various reporting tools
