Senior Business Intelligence Developer

8+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role. Exceptional knowledge of healthcare metrics and statistics, including HCC coding and DRG coding. Extreme proficiency with databases and ability to write complex, raw SQL queries. Mastery of BI visualization tools, specifically Looker and Tableau. Comprehensive understanding of healthcare data structure across different systems. Intimate knowledge of data validation, quality assurance, and testing strategies for BI deliverables. Experience providing technical leadership and strategic analytical thinking. Friendly communication skills and ability to work well in diverse, cross-functional teams. Demonstrated experience working with Product, Engineering, Clinical Teams, and Executives. Demonstrated experience leading the analytical vision and delivery plan for a BI product or component.

Design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards using Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex healthcare datasets to identify trends and opportunities. Write complex, optimized raw SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation. Apply knowledge of healthcare metrics, statistics, HCC/DRG coding, and healthcare plans. Understand healthcare data structures across various sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand analytical needs and deliver solutions. Lead requirements gathering sessions with business users. Implement data validation and quality assurance processes. Provide technical leadership and mentorship on BI best practices. Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members.
