Use multiple real-time sources, including: Departments of Transportation (DOTs), Police and emergency CAD systems, CCTV feeds and GPS data, Social media (e.g., Twitter), Internal channels (email, Teams). Validate and cross-check information to ensure reliability. Update incidents as conditions change (e.g., lanes reopened, cleared). Record key details such as cause, effect, location, and direction. Clear incidents once resolved and confirmed by reliable sources. Communicate with team members and shift supervisors to clarify data or report issues.
