Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in technology
- At least 3 years in a direct people management role
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience leading teams that manage large-scale cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of core infrastructure and security services
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with modern CI/CD practices
- Strong technical background in a scripting or programming language (Python, Go, or Java)
- Strong agile development skills
- Deep understanding of the modern security operations toolchain (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic mindset with ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions
- Legally eligible to work in Bulgaria on an ongoing basis
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team
- Develop the strategic roadmap for security infrastructure, automation, and operations
- Oversee secure and resilient infrastructure in a multi-cloud (AWS) environment
- Drive security automation initiatives for threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Champion a 'Secure by Design' SDLC and embed security into CI/CD
- Lead incident response strategy and act as an escalation point
- Manage automated compliance programs for FedRAMP, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
