US Junior Accountant (Philippines, Latin America)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. At least 2+ years of U.S. bookkeeping or tax filing experience with SMBs. At least 2+ years of direct customer communication (email/calls) supporting SMB clients. Working knowledge of accounting principles, softwares, and modern cloud workflows. Attention to detail and an ownership mentality. Coachability and growth-oriented mindset. Comfort with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office. Clear, concise, and client-friendly English communication.

Categorize transactions and reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts. Post journal entries and adjustments for accuracy. Maintain general ledger hygiene and financial records. Prepare month-end submissions with variance notes. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Share plain-English summaries of financial changes. Participate in daily check-ins and weekly 1:1s. Hit portfolio-level KPIs for response times, quality, and delivery.
