Senior QA Engineer

6+ years of experience in QA or Software Testing, with at least 2+ year in a senior capacity. Working knowledge of Kubernetes environments and distributed systems. Proven ability to thrive in a startup environment. Communicates and collaborates effectively. Takes full ownership and shows initiative. Understands how things work under the hood and can connect the dots between infrastructure, integrations, and application behavior. Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Go, Python. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines with experience integrating and maintaining automated test suites.

Own the test strategy for features and releases, ensuring risk-based coverage aligned to product goals. Explore and test complex systems end-to-end. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend and UI testing. Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to influence features, advocate for testability, and align on quality standards. Conduct exploratory testing to identify usability issues, edge cases, and potential regressions. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Mentor peers and junior engineers on quality mindset and test automation best practices.
