Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of experience in backend development with preferably a typed language (Typescript/Node.js, Java, C#) with a focus on delivering for scalability, availability, security and performance
- At least 2+ years of experience working on frontend applications, preferably with React, but experience with Angular is also valued
- Experience with serverless architectures, microservices or distributed systems
- Worked extensively with AWS in a production environment and understand how to design for, deploy on and get the best out of, the environment and services provided by Amazon
- Can talk easily and spontaneously about most of the offerings on AWS, when to use them, and how, and can explain to junior engineers
- Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do
Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules
- Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems
- Review, update, refactor, and debug code
- Deliver high quality, secure, voice solutions
- Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Mentor team members
