Requirements
- 10 years of paralegal experience specializing in New York Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law.
- Substantial exposure to complex litigation.
- Experience with federal filings is preferred.
- Ability to independently draft and respond to discovery requests.
- Ability to develop tailored legal strategies from scratch.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred.
- Proficient in crafting jury charges.
- Proficient in aligning petitions and discovery with key case elements.
- Exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively train, supervise, and inspire a team of junior and foreign paralegals.
- Comfortable and effective in a fully remote working environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop foreign paralegal staff.
- Independently propound and respond to discovery requests.
- Develop tailored discovery strategies.
- Prepare precise jury charges.
- Draft petitions, complaints, and discovery aimed at gathering key evidence.
- Draft comprehensive petitions, pleadings, and complaints.
- Review and analyze discovery records and gathered evidence.
- Draft motions to compel as necessary.
- Monitor and adhere to all court deadlines and statutes.
- Assemble trial binders.
- Draft legal motions.
