Requirements:
10 years of paralegal experience specializing in New York Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law. Substantial exposure to complex litigation. Experience with federal filings is preferred. Ability to independently draft and respond to discovery requests. Ability to develop tailored legal strategies from scratch. Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred. Proficient in crafting jury charges. Proficient in aligning petitions and discovery with key case elements. Exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Ability to effectively train, supervise, and inspire a team of junior and foreign paralegals. Comfortable and effective in a fully remote working environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop foreign paralegal staff. Independently propound and respond to discovery requests. Develop tailored discovery strategies. Prepare precise jury charges. Draft petitions, complaints, and discovery aimed at gathering key evidence. Draft comprehensive petitions, pleadings, and complaints. Review and analyze discovery records and gathered evidence. Draft motions to compel as necessary. Monitor and adhere to all court deadlines and statutes. Assemble trial binders. Draft legal motions.
