Requirements:
10+ years of paralegal experience specializing in New York Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law. Substantial exposure to complex litigation. Experience with federal filings is preferred. Demonstrate ability to independently draft and respond to discovery requests. Develop tailored legal strategies from scratch. Fluency in both English and Spanish would be preferred. Proficient in crafting jury charges. Align petitions and discovery with key elements of the case. Exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Ability to effectively train, supervise, and inspire a team of junior and foreign paralegals. Comfortable and effective in a fully remote working environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop foreign paralegal staff. Independently propound and respond to discovery requests from scratch. Develop tailored discovery strategies. Prepare precise jury charges. Draft petitions, complaints, and targeted discovery. Draft petitions, pleadings, and complaints for state and federal courts. Review and analyze discovery records and gathered evidence. Draft motions to compel. Monitor and adhere to court deadlines and statutes. Assemble trial binders. Draft legal motions.
