Statistical Analyst/ Graphics Developer (Remote)

Experience working with data and statistics and an understanding of the communication of causality, uncertainty and statistical forecasting. Experience conceiving, prototyping and deploying interactive projects of all sizes, from engineering foundations to frontend details. A creative approach to the news and sports, with an eye for finding novel angles and data sets in odd places. A track record of close collaboration with other journalists and technologists. Demonstrated excellence in publishing data visualizations for mass audiences. Experience working within design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.

Use data and analysis to communicate reporting stronger and more clearly. Publish clear, compelling and imaginative data visualizations. Help imagine and build interactive projects and applications. Consult and advise on the use of statistics and editorial conclusions from data.
