Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical role designing, developing and releasing technical solutions Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex problems Understanding of system architecture and experience building scalable products or systems Experience working in a diverse, dynamic and cross-cultural team Proficient with Python-based backend programming Familiarity with web frameworks like Flask Proficiency with Amazon Web Services Ability to design RESTful APIs and awareness of best practices Experience with Docker, Git, Elasticsearch, Spark, CI/CD is a plus Experience as an early engineering hire at a startup building a technical product from scratch to scale

Design, build and maintain APIs, services and systems Debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack Collaborate with Business, Product and Data Science teams Design, Develop, Implement and Deploy enterprise level, high availability web application platforms Create a technology infrastructure that functions well at scale Design and improve the system architecture Keep up to date on the latest software development technologies and methodologies
