Back End Web Developer & Solutions Support Specialist (Remote Contractor)

5+ years of backend development experience. Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, LangChain, LangGraph). API design and middleware development experience. Foundational knowledge of Node.js. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience. Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Git version control, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines experience. Familiarity with vector databases and AI model integration workflows.

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and event-driven APIs. Build middleware services for data migrations, third-party integrations, and automation. Implement API connections with vector databases, LLM APIs, and productivity platforms. Integrate AI tooling into applications using Python (LangChain, LangGraph, FastAPI). Work with vector databases and Model Context Protocol (MCPs) for RAG and automation. Support design and transformation of data pipelines for analytics and AI readiness. Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Configure and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes clusters. Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. Provide support for infrastructure operations (DNS, CDN, environment migrations). Apply version control best practices with Git. Partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Participate in code reviews and support best practices. Assist in implementing workflow automations and integrations in project management platforms.
