Senior Estimator (Construction) - Remote

12+ years of construction estimating experience, with a focus on electrical and telecom/fiber systems. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven estimation experience in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities. Strong understanding of structured cabling, fiber optics, MV/LV power distribution, and electrical systems. Proficient in interpreting design documents. Experience with estimating tools such as Bluebeam, Accubid, or equivalent. Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Develop detailed cost estimates for electrical and telecom/fiber systems. Interpret drawings and specifications for quantity take-offs. Lead the development of bid packages and estimate submissions. Analyze subcontractor/vendor proposals. Collaborate with internal teams and clients. Prepare cost comparison and variance reports. Interface regularly with clients and internal teams. Deliver executive-level presentations. Prepare independent cost estimates (ICEs). Conduct BOQ and rate analysis. Provide value engineering input. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
