Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 7-8 years experience in data science, machine learning, AI engineering or software development with production deployment experience
- In-depth knowledge of transformer-based models such as BERT
- Experience with LLMs: commercial (Anthropic, OpenAI) and non-commercial (e.g. Llama)
- Knowledge of prompt-engineering techniques (CoT, few-shot learning, fine-tuning/PEFT)
- Proficiency in Python with frameworks/packages: numpy, pandas; Scikit-learn; TensorFlow, PyTorch; Spacy; LangChain, LlamaIndex
- Familiarity with AWS cloud computing platform
- Hands-on involvement in deploying models using Docker and Kubernetes
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic mindset
- Strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Drive design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and GenAI systems
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Lead teams of AI/ML engineers, data engineers, and MLOps professionals
- Integrate AI and data-driven modules into larger software solutions
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers
- Conduct data analysis and model validation
- Translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in ad hoc pre-sales efforts
