Requirements
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or construction documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, plumbing, electrical, and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with construction terms, permit processes, and building departments (NYC DOB familiarity is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and PDF editing tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Accurately fill out forms and official documents related to building permits and compliance.
- Input data from clients and construction documents into digital systems.
- Interpret architectural, plumbing, electrical, and structural plans to extract relevant information.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and clarify document requirements.
- Understand and apply information related to municipal departments, especially NYC DOB systems (preferred).
- Maintain organized digital files and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
