Per Diem LCSW, Oncology Counselor

Current LCSW state licensure in Arizona, Colorado, California, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Virginia, Washington State Proven experience in behavioral health and case management within oncology settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Knowledge of community resources and crisis intervention strategies Knowledge of billing psychotherapy codes High emotional intelligence & empathy towards patients Culturally competent Ability to effectively use technology Ability to multi-task across multiple digital platforms Knowledge of supportive care principles and techniques for oncology patients Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports Basic computer skills in Microsoft and Google programs

Conduct virtual comprehensive mental health evaluations/assessments Develop and implement treatment plans Offer ongoing therapeutic support and case management Accurately prepare and maintain treatment and progress reports Collaborate with other agencies and healthcare professionals Provide timely and effective responses to crisis situations Guide patients in accessing community resources Stay informed about local and regional cancer resources
