Requirements:
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing backend services, cloud infrastructure, and databases with a focus on aligning technology with business goals.
  • Strong proficiency in C# with hands-on experience in maintaining and evolving both modern and legacy serverless services and HTTP APIs (e.g., Core API, Classic API).
  • Experience with ORMs such as Dapper and Entity Framework, including managing complex data operations for various entities (e.g., users, teams, impacts, raw data storage in Azure Blob Storage).
  • Comfortable working with TypeScript/JavaScript for backend development, particularly in serverless HTTP Function Apps (e.g., Game Day API) and managing associated data entities (e.g., sessions, fixtures, and alerts).
  • Solid understanding of Azure SQL Server, including experience with T-SQL, database project management, and using Git-based version control (e.g., Prevent-DB repository).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across both development and production environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra B2C for implementing authentication flows, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and managing app registration configurations.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and integration workflows between frontend and backend systems.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure tasks, such as managing Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and containerized applications (Azure Container Apps).
  • Familiarity with Angular SPA architecture, with a particular focus on understanding how frontend systems interact with backend APIs.
  • Understanding of best practices in logging and monitoring, with experience using tools such as Papertrail.
  • Some familiarity with maintaining WordPress instances hosted in Azure containerized environments, especially for configuration and authentication tasks.
  • Advanced level of English.
