5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting, with a focus on designing and presenting complex cloud architectures involving infrastructure-as-code, DevOps practices, and modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, in enterprise customer environments. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Go, Java, C#, F#) and ability to create maintainable, reusable code in real-world cloud automation projects. Strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, application modernization patterns, and open source technologies. Proficiency in at least one Infrastructure-as-Code tool (eg. Pulumi, Terraform, AWS CDK) Experience in solution selling methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) Proven ability to lead and manage complex customer engagements end-to-end—setting clear expectations, driving alignment across stakeholders, and ensuring successful technical and business outcomes through both proactive planning and responsive problem-solving. Experience building positive professional relationships with developers and executives. Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences. Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; able to define direction, adapt quickly, and drive initiatives to completion. Preferred: verbal proficiency in German to support customer conversations; written skills are a bonus, though not required.
